The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, October 22 reveals Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) gesture will surprise Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Also coming up, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will send Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to London for business. Plus, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will update his father. And Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will encourage her husband to go see his mom.
Y&R spoilers tease Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will realize there’s a lot going on with Adam and she’ll ask him to talk to her. “I’m feeling happy, relieved, sad, but the last thing I wanna do is drag you into it,” he’ll reply. But Chelsea will want to help him make sense of what he went through.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Chelsea And Adam Give Sally A Pink Onesie For Ruby
Adam will start crying and he’ll be embarrassed. He’ll tell Chelsea he couldn’t let Sally go through that again. “I’m relieved that it all worked out.” But Adam will also admit that when he was holding that baby and she was crying, he had so much joy. “Then immediately I thought of Ava, who didn’t get to cry.”
He’ll say it feels like he’s grieving all over again. Adam will tell her he’d like to go see Sally and the baby. Chelsea will say she’s all for it and she’ll tell him Billy might surprise him. “If it hadn’t been for you it might not have gone so well.” Adam will have a better idea and ask Chelsea to come with him.
Meanwhile, Billy and Sally will bring baby Ruby home from the hospital. “I feel really blessed,” Sally will tell her new husband. “Everything is perfect, we finally have everything we ever wanted.” But Sally will see a look on Billy’s face and realize something’s bothering him. “Please tell me, I don’t want to start our new life with a secret.”
So he’ll finally admit Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) had a heart attack. “We’re not sure if she’s gonna make it.” Billy will add that Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) is on his way to London. He’s going to let him know how Jill is doing. “I’m making the decision, go pack a bag, you’re going to London,” Sally will say.
He won’t want to go but Sally will remind him it could be the last time he sees her. She’ll make Billy promise he’ll at least think about it. Talk will turn to Adam and Sally will say her water just broke and everything happened so quickly. Plus, Adam tried to call him.
Sally will say maybe they could just forget it was Adam. Billy will tell her that would be difficult for him. “I’m grateful he was there, I’m just disappointed I wasn’t there for you.” Then the doorbell will ring. Billy will open it and invite Adam and Chelsea inside. Chelsea will give Sally a gift, a pink onesie with Genoa City Athletic Club on it.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nikki Finds Out Adam Delivered Sally’s Baby
They’ll gush over the baby and Adam will say there was another reason they stopped by. “I’m glad you did Adam,” Billy will reply. “There’s something I need to say to you.” Then Billy will shake Adam’s hand and thank him, saying he’s grateful he was there to bring Ruby into the world.
Billy extending a handshake to his bitter rival masterfully subverts years of Genoa City hostility. It instantly redefines the complex, emotional triangle between Adam, Billy, and Sally following the high-stakes delivery room miracle.
At the ranch, Victor will tell Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) about Jill. He’ll say they had their ups and downs in the past but he’s always respected her. Nick will tell his father he found Matt Clark (Roger Howarth), who was at Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) house. Then he’ll describe everything that went down that viewers have already seen.
Finally, Victoria will dish with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) about everything that happened at the wedding. Nikki’s mouth will practically hit the floor when Victoria says Sally gave birth in her suite and Adam delivered the baby.
She’ll add she’s sure there were mixed feelings for Adam. After all, it was a girl. “Poor Adam,” Nikki will say. Her mom will ask Victoria how she feels about it all. She’ll say she’s glad Billy found love and Sally is perfect for him. Nikki will pry and ask if she’s seeing someone. Victoria will say no, but when she is, she’ll be the first to know.
Then Victor will show up and ask Victoria to fly to London for a business deal. She’ll say sure and she and Nikki will fill him in on baby Ruby’s birth. Then she’ll head outside and text Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) asking how he’d feel about a rendezvous in London.
